Ky-Mani
Ky-Mani, who is among the best-known and wealthiest Reggae singers was born on February 26, 1976 in Falmouth Jamaica. He was a member of Shottas along with another artist Wyclef. Ky-Mani signed to Shang Records and recorded his debut album, called With Father Like Son. This was followed by a number of singles like Dear Dad, which topped British Reggae Charts. Who The Cap fit (remix), and Sensimelia. All of these contributed to Ky-Mani's reputation as a new reggae musician. Ky-Mani, along with Praswell and Fugees (as part of Avenue) has a cult song of Eddy Grant called Electric Avenue was released in 1997. Marley became the first performer to appear in Midem in Miami which was an international festival of musical talent. Marley did a performance in the Cameo Theatre that was broadcasted live across 36 countries. Marley was at the center of an auction war. He joined Gee Street/V2 Record in 1997.
